OG Tradeshow Booth
Experiential Design / Event Branding | Q1 2025 | OpenGov
The Challenge
In early 2025, OpenGov launched a full rebrand, and I was responsible for bringing it to life at two major industry events. I designed a standout tradeshow booth featuring 6 branded demo stations, a large tower, and a hanging graphic. The goal: to create a booth that felt fresh, modern, and unmistakably OpenGov. Something that would turn heads on the show floor and support lead generation.
I owned the end-to-end design process, including:
Concepting the full booth layout
Applying new brand visuals across all booth elements
Communicating with the exhibit vendor
Reviewing and approving all production proofs
Managing feedback from internal stakeholders across design, marketing, and events
The Process
I started with vendor-provided templates, then explored layouts and visuals that would make the most of the space while aligning with the updated brand. Once the design was finalized, I worked directly with the printer, handling specs, materials, color matching, and last-minute adjustments. Internally, I balanced input from multiple teams to keep things on track and aligned.
The Impact
80+ marketing qualified leads (MQLs) from PWX
$40K deal closed from a lead at GFOA
Internal and external feedback was overwhelmingly positive:
“OpenGov was everywhere and being talked about by just about everyone.”
The booth visually stood out—clean, bold, and instantly recognizable

What I learned
This project pushed me to combine visual design with logistics and cross-team collaboration. Designing a physical space. especially one tied to a rebrand, meant thinking big, sweating the details, and keeping everything aligned from concept to build. I am glad I was able to bring such a big team effort to life.
